As a general rule, your energy consumption could be reduced by performing a few easy steps:

• Ensure that roof insulation is at least 270mm thick
• Have cavity walls filled with an insulating material
• Install double glazing to keep heat in
• Keeping your home heated regularly instead of letting it cool down
